Supporting local
A neighbourhood is only as good as the businesses on its streets. Keeping them going is part of keeping the whole area worth buying into.
Events we sponsor and volunteer at
Through SACA and SCES
Sambro community events
Sou'Wester Days, the Shay & McKay Fishing Derby, Pumpkin Palooza and the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner. Events through SACA bring out the whole community and raise money for a new community centre as well as an accessible fishing wharf.
Through the Spryfield Business Commission
Spryfield Annual Car Show
The Spryfield Business Commission is dedicated to supporting and promoting local businesses in the Spryfield area of Halifax. Through advocacy, marketing, networking, and community development initiatives, it works to strengthen and grow the local business community. Mary-Jane is an active member of the commission.
For Ovarian Cancer Canada
